Last presidential election BTC was $701, now ~$14k.

Regardless of who wins we know 2 things . The American people reject real politicians and polling is finished . Nobody will ever believe another poll . Biden was up big for the last 4 months .

I don't think it was a polls problem, I think it was the media attempting to brainwash the public in the leadup to the elections, but now the media wish to twist the narative yet again and blame the polls as an attempt to cover up their stupidity.
The media are owned by vested interests imo.

How do you guys mark the official close of regular hours on ES and NQ? I have set to 16:15 ET but my software package's report on the market change % indicates something else.

Who is "them?"

It's just something that has been happening a lot recently and it's good for intra-day traders to keep in mind as the moves are not only expanded due to volatility, but they also tend to stay down or up for a longer amount of time before correcting the imbalances. I assume it's algo's taking advantage of intra-day traders to collect their supply, but I don't know that and don't really care who it is or if it's just how the markets work is irrelevant.

This is a great question. I know one broker who sets a deadline of 4 pm for day trading margins. Then from 4-5 pm they set them to full CME margins, and then from 6 pm till 8 am, they set it to overnight margins.
Don't ask me why they do it this way.
BTW: my software platform allows me to customize the times for up to 2 sessions per day.

Although volatility presents good opportunities for us to trade, erratic movements with huge swing like today might ruin our trading account easily. Having said that, I'm going to keep my hands off the table until price action becomes stable first. Good luck to everyone here.
