Hey now, not all of us can afford to be in daytrading retirement like u.

This is first day in the last 2 weeks that technically things have changed enough to where I don't have an overwhelming bias to the downside.
Daily chart is in a pre-buy signal setup. So, while it hasn't actually triggered a buy, often times we still get a lift in the markets even if it doesn't turn into a buy signal.
So, no strong bias for me. Just going to look for good setups I recognize.
Are you a scalper or a day trader? Most scalpers would exit for 2 points of profit in ES per trade. You'll expose to more risks if you hold for more or for longer period, especially choppy market conditions if you can't recognize it.
If you are a day trader, are you a mean reversal trader or a trend trader? If you are a trend day trader, you should be able to see intraday trend was getting bullish after 10:30am and so, the odds of a winning trade on the long side was better than on the short side today.
I try to adjust based on what's happening.
I don't think we'll see a sustained trend higher until post-election - barring any news items (vaccine, stimulus, etc.
I have 3290/87 as a possible target by end of week. Sold off quite nicely already in ETH.

Came close in ETH.
I think we have a good chance of printing 3287 today. Should be good for a great bounce. Either way - odds are strong we'll see a higher close than we open.
Good luck all.![]()
The specialists/dealers really don’t care what the latest reason or price is. They just see an opportunity to build inventory at a value price and kick them out at higher levels.
