Bloomberg TV has a special tonite at 9:00 pm EDT...."Corona Virus: Crude in Crisis". On Monday we'll be only 8 days from the June CL contract's settlement date. It recently closed in the mid-24's.

The Bloomberg special report was OK. Big takeaway: there are no domestic oil wells profitable with WTI crude under $30/BBL. Yet, look at XLE zooming !

All this week, with the exception of Friday, RTH sold off into the close only to rally in the AH. So could we have an opposite effect for Sunday night?

Friday may be different due to expiring spreads. And remember that Globex opened week with a gap down that reversed after a few hours. So a gap down that reverses would put keep the pattern intact. That close on Friday makes it look like we're gong back to 3K before a pullback. Also, pullback's, as a matter of public policy, may not be allowed to occur until after the election.

All conjecture.
