EIA report this morning showed mild reduction in gasoline inventories. CL popped $1/BBL on the news but immediately retraced the full amount. Crude remains extremely volatile showing a high of $26.08 and low of $22.58...now just above $23.00. 13 days remain till June contract settlement. Prices remain above $20 on the hopes of increased gasoline demand and increased space for WTI crude at the Cushing, OK terminal.
Demand will come back slowly, but will not save Jun20. If it tanks and take Jul20 with it, then, good buying opp to grab.

I'm a reversal trader basically and profitable but what I do is finding levels of support and resistance and betting that they hold or not. I have my methods on deciding by fundamentals and historic prices. He is doing intraday swings based on statistics along with price action which would be the next level for me. So I'm especially eager to learn from him as his addition seems more valuable to me then the scalpers and other styles present on this board.

This is a game of observation... I know I sound a bit redundant & have said this 1000’s of times here...and has become my mantra... Observe and soak in what you see... Become your own hero... what works for him will not work for you... your methodology will be shaped by your personality type & comfort level.. that’s the only way to succeed in this game long term!

Many hundreds and thousands of hours of observing PA to decipher pattern recognition ... You will find yourself responding to PA like a reflex without hesitation... that’s what you’re striving for... Not a hero with a crystal ball... make your own crystal ball thru hard work, dedication & most of all.. Constant observation!
It’s called a game of observation!!

Become your own hero...
There are many things/games in life where others can make or break you.

Trading isn't one of them

Edit: Perhaps others can distract or prevent you from trading. But when you are here, bottom line... it's just you and your choices.

Edit#2: If you have ever had somebody work to seriously sabotage your life and profession... in the normal course of events they can't do that to you as a trader. In this sense trading may be one of the safer things you can do...

...for real, become your own hero.
