I know, I noticed later you had closed your short at a profit too, congrats.
Not criticizing, just commenting on how you shorted at 17.70 or so, instead of waiting for a touch of 18.
I was going to short at 17, but it still looked strong, glad I didn't.
When I shorted earlier, it actually when down to 16.60, but I was napping. Bounce up to quick so I took only a small gain from short entry.
Long and done for the day.
I feel strongly about 2930, but I can't say the path up there.
You had an excellent entry and it was a great scalp. I hope you at least got out B/E.
The trend was clearly down into the Open, so I was leaning short too. But when we broke below yesterday's Low and traded back up above it again + NQ almost at the HOD - I switched to a long bias.
I suppose there's a small chance we're building a swing high leg here for a sell lower, but I doubt it to be honest. I think we're done below for today.
Can't be exact all the time, hence, i trail in. If it hits 18, I can increase. All last 5-6 trades in oil were profitable, except for the stop that got hit by 2 cents. Seems to have a better read on oil then ES lately.
That would be a quadruple top on CL at 18, which would be very rare. I think it will break through and head to 20 later this week or next week.
Or maybe we're not done below after all. NQ in the red now and closing in on the LOD. Looking heavy...
So maybe we go lower after all.
