There's an old adage that's been around as long as I can remember. Art Cashin on CNBC used to say it a lot.

"Volume is validity".

I can't disagree that it makes sense, but is it really useful? Not sure if you saw my other post where I particularly question volume analysis on a thick instrument like ES. I'm sure it's far more useful on single equities.

Tuesday the 7th of April so far resembles today: A large gap up which is sold hard on higher volume than the preceding day.

What happened next? The market rallied 250 + points from that Tuesday's Close.
