Yeah his call to likely retest highs of Friday today was just another feather in the cap for sure.

Think it was 666 back in March of '09. But yeah... must have been that wink from Cage that sold me on the big one...

We're gonna get a Tweet. Trump can't let our domestic production dry up. I don't know what he can do, tariffs sound easy enough, but I'm not sure how or if that would even work. Texas is heading for a recession if something doesn't give.

As far as I understand it, tariffs are supposed to work when you import products; the US is a net producer. Unless Trump convinces *foreign* countries to impose tariffs, I don't see how the US unilaterally putting a tariff on foreign oil would help.

He would need to set a minimum price, i.e. subsidize domestic shale. Theoretically political suicide, but, hey, we're seeing weirder stuff.

I think moreso from 2750 but the call had parameters that weren't hit if I recall. Something along the lines of never taking out said prior LOD but I could be wrong. I think he runs swings and some heavier intraday shots at the same time from what I've seen so maybe it's still on for a longer term position.
