Hey this is up your alley though.
Did (the original) Star Trek ever have an episode with a virus? I forget. Seems like they should have.
Maybe killed off everyone but Bones, Scotty, Spock, Uhuru, and of course Nurse Janet.
They might have made it to season 4 with just that cast.

Rude! I didn't search that after your post. I remember the vid from a way back, just thinking of cellos and your like for the sound of them. I think that song is a good demonstration of the Cello sound. I was more into the harp, meself.
Believe it or not, Star Trek:TOS was my least favorite series in the franchise. I think it has to do with those egg omlettes that stuck to Spock's back in that one episode. Traumatizing!
