Mate, you guys are lucky, in Oz we're closed Monday trading, 4 fuggin days without a fix.

Also note, the Trader graphic specifically mentions 475 (MTM) accounting election. And states "Traders may be eligible to make".

TTS is required in order for the IRS to accept and recognize the 475 (MTM) election.

Otherwise, ANYONE with a relatively sizable (and minimally active) portfolio would be eligible for trading business benefits and taxation.
