Look at this damn thing. Its a ventilator. That's what all these hospitals need.

Now I know very little about this stuff... but to me one could draw an analogy to cars. This thing is like a brand new Lexus. Its got dozens of bells and whistles that it probably doesn't need to get the job done in a pinch. And we're in a pinch.

Why don't they just build bare-bones ones... f all that fluff. A '70 Nova with zero options got you from point A to point B just as well as a 2020 Lexus costing $60K plus does. Someone should dig up the designs they used in the 60's and make them. Just for now. Its gotta be easier. Of course... "yeah but the lawyers". Good point. Whatever. They do f everything up.
But still... this is an emergency. I have to believe a much simpler model can be built.
They are being made as we speak....simpler ones.

They designed a Prius. Then big pharma bought the company and buried the project. :(

Edit, sorry I forgot to post the link: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/29/business/coronavirus-us-ventilator-shortage.html

The BBC had an article they were making something that used a pressurized face mask that kind of did the breathing for you. Did not require sticking a tube down your throat. Wouldn't work for the most seriously compromised, but would for most.
This was re-purposing some items.

There are all kinds of inventive things going on. We just need time to get them proven and made in quantity.

MarketWatch had this article. Don't know what to say...

The captain of the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt, where multiple sailors have fallen ill with COVID-19, has pleaded with U.S. Navy officials for on-shore quarantines for the entire crew.

In the carrier’s close quarters, it is impossible to comply with isolation guidelines and “the spread of the disease is ongoing and accelerating,” Capt. Brett Crozier wrote in a letter reportedly obtained by the San Francisco Chronicle.

The newspaper said the authenticity of the letter had been confirmed by a senior officer aboard the warship. The Navy did not immediately return a request for comment.

We've got a nice little pause there at the 20 day MA. Sell signals that fail should indicate further upside. We've had numerous sell signals fail. This market is strong and with Wuhan-19 basically over, I look for higher pricing-----much much higher. Staying long.
