Trade Management.

Is anyone entering trades on stops in this environment? Generally, I like to enter on limit orders, but I've missed quite a few entries lately. On some of them - the result have been chasing price causing me to enter poorly and way too late.

Did a few breakout longs today with stop entries with success. Am considering implementing tihs on a regular basis on certain trades going forward.

All market orders ... but this is intended as a multi-session hold unless I stop out before the close, so I'm not going to quibble about points here, much less ticks. But unless I'm setting a limit at support/resistance, I'm a market order guy. Gotta be in it to win it, right?

How about market orders (as NQurious mentions) or hitting the bid/ask?

Have you ever seen a farmer ring a chickens neck for dinner?

Probably not, but thats what this market is like... that poor chicken.
See, they twist the chickens head off, and that fucker may fly around the yard, he may run around the yard, he may just flop over and be dead like he should be. One has no idea what that chicken is gonna do. Depends on the chicken I guess.
Its a crapshot as to what that headless chicken is gonna do.
Trying to predict it is a fools game. Leave that for B1. He's a headless chicken.

Trade your signals or cherry-pick quality stocks for the long haul.
jmho
LOL :)
Looks like the chicken just sewed his head back on.
