Options traders are like BSE, the mad cow disease.

You want something fucked up to be scary of? It's the prion. Now THAT is the scariest shit ever disease. It is the "tick" of plagues. It is the black-hole of badness. And if the BSE prion ever became viral in the sense of transmissibility? THEN you would want to worry about the end of the world, because it would be.

Holy shit, everyone whining about Covid and flu deaths.

We should be grateful, because things could be a LOT worse.

I am not getting the government's endgame here. (not just the American) OK, so after 3-4 weeks we reopen everything, then one outsider with the virus restarts the whole thing. Are we going to do this until the vaccine arrives?

Now they could say this is just to slow the virus down so we can get ready. OK, but they are not building hospitals like the Chinese did. We have in town closed down school buildings (not due to the virus) perfectly good acting as hospitals. Takes only a couple of days to throw in beds. In the South they could just raise tent camps outside of the big cities.

So I am not getting it. What is the plan and the endgame?

Why are futures being halted in after hrs at 3.8% now ? Happened last night . I put order at 2388 to buy and it’s not accepting the order . It accepts at 2392 which is about 3.8% down

This is getting all-so-stupid IMHO. The Media is focusing on test kits, when in fact they should be focusing on the VACCINE ! In my backyard, a company has already created a COVID-19 vaccine with high tech software and equipment. All that is needed is for Trump to issue an executive order to the FDA to fast-track the Phase II and Phase III trials of this vaccine. End of the pandemic.
