There is a key advantage of being long vs short. Shorts have to exit eventually, so you really need strong convictions to short. Now the market is down 20% or so already after 2 weeks of CV. Unless you can tell the freaking future, do you want to short more? Any big down move from here is getting into value territory, which deep pockets people may start buying.
