5 % limit goes both ways during the overnight session.

There are limits to the upside durking regular trading hours too, but not quite the same as to the downside.

We did print 2879. Looks like we're going to make another push higher towards it.

Not sure what the actual rule is. Does price need to be resting there for a while?

On yestesterday's limit down - the market appeared to be trading at, bouncing off and back down to the limit down before finally closing down.

Yes it couldn't trade above 2879 but can trade below it as sell orders hit it. We hit 2834 a few mins ago 45 off the highs. I bought a ton of oil stocks as i posted yesterday. Many up 8-18% in pre mkt. I dumped them all . I think the long awaited bear is here . Over time we should at least see 2350 which we saw in 2018
