This used to be the greatest financial thread on the Inter-webs... Did everyone go bust shorting ES? or is everyone swing long ES sitting on the beach living #forexlifestyles?

Hard to say. Generally, this journal has been ebbing and flowing ever since it started. It was great fun back in the day when I was just starting out and while there were always a few snide remarks, I generally think it was more friendly and less time was spent mocking other people's trades.

I'm a lone trader with no trader colleagues, so for me, ET is social hour.

Where in Thailand are you based?

I've considered it myself, but I believe the timezone is less than ideal for day trading American markets.

I am in Chiang Mai. I've been here on and off for over 2 years now. Day trading at night is not ideal that's for sure. I came here originally to minimize my expenses while learning to trade. Was a great choice and highly recommend it to independent types.

I'm thinking we're consolidating before the next push lower here. 3321 would be nice.

Yes. Pretty much. Although that consolidation lasted for a bit longer and further than anticipated.

NQ not done below yet, so we're probably due one final push lower into the Close.

I'm thinking today printed the Week High and that we'll trade lower for the remainder of the week.

Not unlikely.

Let's see if we can get 3291 first.

There's not been any evidence of strong, broad selling so far, so I am a bit cautious that this can reverse higher from here though.

It seems like NQ have been holding the ES up both yesterday and today. ES currently near the LOD while NQ is barely below its midpoint.
