Looking at the monthly chart, this just looks like a normal pull-back on a continuing uptrend. Am I the only one who thinks this thing is going to climb tomorrow, and perhaps just continue on its climb northward thereafter?

I'm not naive, though. I understand that markets can't go up forever. But this just doesn't look like the end of the world to me...yet.

Although I have concerns about the global and US economies, there seems to be plenty of investment money available. With yields in a long term decline and business formation or expansion becoming increasingly scary because of economic fears, where does this money end up? By historical standards, it does not feel like things are “Frothy”.

Can the US go through a potential recession with a rising stock market?

One risk that could blindside policy makers is home flipping and owner financing. But as of now, I don’t see how this could rise to the level of a systemic risk.

But regarding the quote above, who is doing that with the Finviz/Yahoo delayed chart thing? I do not know what those charts look like, but I have been having suspicions that some folks here are posting odd-ball charts like that, and not from trading software in real-time..
Hmmmm..... who do u think?
Did you read my rendition of Casey at Bat? (Verse 4, line 4)

Soooo. You covered your short position then? Missed that post. Missed the entry too for that matter but whatever.
Where's the tally at now? 420 points for the year?

Mmm, I'll have to disagree with you there. I've been eyeing your journal on and off, and you've been making good calls in there I believe. But IIRC, you do options mostly? So I get lost on that bit. Spreads and whatnot with calls/put. No sir, I win.

Ok, I’ll cede only because theta may save the profitability of some of my positions in spite of my bad calls.

I have only scratched the surface of options. They offer more flexibility and ways to profit that are not available with outright positions.

if i consult long term charts it is buy for me , but since i don't play swings so it hardly matters. i do see one big crash in 2020 winter time. haven't really studied it to confirm it but that does strike out when i look at the long term charts. calculations could be wrong but does look like it, if nothing changes, we should be going back to 3k 200 region soon.
thx tenny
