Broke even today...the short trades just clobbered me.....until the end of the day.
Then, I got out of a sweet, late short trade way too early....a common problem with my trading.
The market has conditioned me to take small profits.....and that really sucks. Gotta work on that with more patience and perhaps utilizing trailing stops.
Too tired to post the detailed results.

3D chess can be deceiving. Especially his game. Not saying you're wrong... but those 21 words, while appearing to be uttered spontaneously, no way. That was a very calculated remark. It didn't just come out of nowhere.

I know we always assign a random and haphazard firing of neurons to whatever he says... rightfully so... but every now and then there's an exception. This one was discussed beforehand.

This one was not discussed beforehand. Nowhere in any reports was there even the slightest inkling that Trump would say that a trade deal is most likely off until after his re-election. This is a very weird twist, and one that is going to TANK THE SHIT OUT OF FUTURES. Until when? Pffht, WTF knows. Trump is singlehandedly destroying the world economy with his tariff stuff. And now we see the start of it. It is too bad the little shits like me that see a strong economy and pro-growth get caught in his crossfire of protectionist stupid.

That's not how these things work. This was absolutely discussed. Perhaps not the exact delivery, but this was a calculated move. You think its going to tank the market. No way. Dip buyers will step in. Anyone who knows anything knows there was never a deal forthcoming anyway. Trump has known that all along too. Like China is gonna cave. He waits till Friday PM to drop something he's known for a long time. It was 1000% a calculated move.

This market is very strong and knee-jerk reactions to stuff like this, unless you have impeccable timing... is a bad move. But lets just agree to disagree. We'll see. I'm out.

I mean, what the hell. I'm swinging this dick at the fences, let us see how it pans out. At this rate I'm going to blow my account on ONE simple contract, so let's see where it goes. *shrugs* Let us all watch the magical retrace to ALL-TIME HIGHS in the Dow before September 19th.

And the market was very strong at beginning of Oct 2018. That did not pan out well for bull contract holders on the Dec contract. Did it?
