The other day I put tires on one of the cars, I dropped the f'r off at 11... come back at 1 and of course its not done yet, so I'm stuck there for another hour or so... but when I dropped it off there's some kid on the corner with a cooler full of bottled waters and he's screaming "ice cold water $1" at every car that goes by. Those Kroger waters that you can buy 32 of for like $2.50. When I came back he was still there. Still screaming. It was hot af. I sat there and watched him. I think he sold one the whole time I was there. I said man... this kid is going places lol. I got my tires and pulled out at the light, gave him a $20 bill for one water lol. I like that. There's still hope.I have great respect for anyone who has the courage and confidence not only to give a sales career a try, but especially those who take it direct to the consumer by going door to door. I have several very well to do friends who started thriving businesses going door to door themselves, and in many cases, continue to grow by employing outside sales people instead of telemarketers. I'll bet that young salesperson made more than $13 yesterday
