I actually made fun of that old saying here a little while back while anticipating a short entry during a dull market.

For today, the data simply does not support it though.

With the benefit of using 4 months of hindsight, the psychologically easiest trade here at 2795 is to go short. Very hard to open a substantial long position here.
One thing I've learned through the years.... the hardest trade to make psychologically almost always turns out to be the winning trade.
