Here is the ensuing 1 min chart from your sell signal SVZ-----I guess you should have held short---but I wouldn't have either--

Getting a little resistance here just under 2632. Once thru, it's clear sailing above--We'll get above and go quite a bit higher. I love these pullbacks.
 
It's not often that you get such clear buy signals across numerous timeframes. I am only interested in long side right now (and Risk Management).

Oh you are looking at the close on the 18th. Ok. -----As you know, I don't consider that a gap as we traded within the range of 1/18's activity yesterday. There WAS a cash gap from the high of 1/17 to the low of 1/18 that was filled yesterday though.

Spx has not traded above 2658 this week so how did a 2670 gap fill ?
