I stayed out totally today. I messed around in sim at that low at Noon, thinking the pattern looked familiar. And it sure did. But damn did not expect NQ to go as high as it did. And then after-hours got weird. I guess MSFT took everyone by surprise.

Will go in long at the 6PM open.

This little after-hours trade I've got on right now is helping. Maybe it'll keep heading north all night and I'll wake up tomorrow with the coffers replenished.

The worst part of this morning was that I set my stop way too far. I never enter trades that far away. I should have just stopped out and got back in when I saw the opportunity. Oh well, you can't learn without a little pain.

2) MSFT earnings beat
Lots of action from 4:00 to 4:15pm....and the 4:30 re-open as well.
