you are ALWAYS trading 'conviction', you can't escape it. when i open my charting program i'm thinking, "this is a down day", "this is that", "this is whatever"

always a bias, lurking.

It was a bad entry, but are you going to do the work to figure out why it was a bad entry? (hint: it was not a bad entry because the trade was a loss - assuming you are not still holding it down almost 9 handles. I make many good entries that end in scratches or small losses. Still good entries. You need to answer for yourself why it was a bad entry. Otherwise you're just going to keep making them.
