A nice trade. Why get out of this one?
Maybe he doesn't want to swing on the Dec contract near the expiration of what could be a large drop down, thus avoiding the roll? I dunno', just a guess.
Right now, I still have a position long on. I would like to get a little sideways or down action and then reenter a long swing trade.
4200 would be about a 50 percent move of the recent low to high added to the recent high.
Looks like I pulled the trade too early.
Oh blah blah. If the market suddenly tanks in December when all the big bad wolves pull their capital from equities in the second half of December and we get a 10% drop (correction, oh nos), you will pat yourself on the back for pulling out at *just* the right time.
NO, dude, you did not pull out too early.
You pulled out at the time you thought to, based upon your analysis, and you will live with the decision. You made your monies. Don't second-guess yourself. That is the ruin of traders all over this miserable planet.
Yes, seemed like smooth sailing after 3620, was wondering if it was an end of month type of decision.
