The situation is the SHORTS doomsday view got smashed by the job increase prospect and the LONG figure that if May already got 2.5 millions job added, June and July are going to be better. So people who feel left out would rush to get in, and short has to cover if the price keeps going steady, both will fuel the rally much higher. Whether the reality is really that good is a completely different matter.

Not sure why you're quoting what I said to TheApprentice?

It was mostly a joke on how well he's been doing lately trading the long side.

But sure - I do applaud B1S2 for sticking to his guns and making one hell of a trade off the lows and having the foresight to see this recovery. Not many did. On the other hand, he did keep calling floors all the way down, too, so one could say he was simply one persistent bull in the face of major, major adversity.

Sorry I didn't see all the posts, never mind.
B1S2 made a lot of good calls and especially is so convinced about the BULL market since the recent recovery, when so many of old traders are so negative/pessimistic ; One particular thing about him is once he has a conviction he never waver or flip flop. He made some imperfect calls/prediction, but I tend to look at more of his positive side that represents his character.

Not trying to get political up here, but the powers that be on WS don't want to see a Biden win I'm sure.
Running the markets up is their only hope.

You definitely need a bit of conviction to do well in this game, but too much of it can be a bad thing too.

Not saying this applies to him, but I've seen some people on these boards who simply can't admit to being wrong and by the time the top or bottom is in they blew their account.
