Always better to take a small defeat in trading, in an argument, and in life rather then having so much pride or anger that you feel you have to win, and end up blowing up your account and life.
My last trade tonight was a win, but I still took a small loss over dumb mistakes. Main mistake I did not have a wide enough stop for my short.
I then re-shorted ES AFTER it already fell, then killed that trade as it went back up, then went long for a win.
The below story shows people that already won at life throwing their lives away over a stupid argument when they did not need to money.
