Man, I even spelled 75 as the profit target (pt) in the above post :D

I was surprised u put 75 out there, as I was eyeing same target. Was looking at an obvious pattern on the 60 min. I think we grabbed the majority of the meat on the bone for the next few hours, but who knows

Morning all. Man it looks like they keep amassing the troops to make an assault at the VeeeZeee top. Kinda like Bushman-1's buildup before he went into Kuwait back in the day. 2975 may fall temporarily, but there'll be the mother of all battles at 3100. In the end, 2975 will be re-visited on the way down to 2550.

In no particular order....

Its amazing to me that one of the two major sectors (also Industrials) that typically lead us out of recessionary periods look like hot garbage. Fell harder than the indexes on the selloff and bounced less than them during the recent rally :vomit::vomit: Welcome to the rally carried by a small group of heavy weighted stocks in the S&P . Banks are dead money for now.

:

Yes. This is very interesting. These retail banks, and I've said this forever... I don't understand why they have to own so many prime properties. It's friggin 2020... everything can pretty much be done online or at an ATM. At least 85% can be. Close those dinosaurs, get em off the books.

The industrials are all cutting the dividends. No more buybacks. Time to trim some fat.

Never seen haters on this thread.
Just against @Buy1Sell2

Nobody hates B1, he just says stupid things sometimes.

.....I hope this journal can take a turn for the positive...

You should have coat-tailed my DAL short yesterday A.M.

Hats off to you NQ, watching you work is a pleasure.

Call him Winston.

@NQ you mentioned having probs and stats calculated, where do you get your data from? Manual entry into excel or data import from some source.

When I started tracking I bought years worth of historical intraday data and have since then kept it myself. That was several years ago. Perhaps there is a free source you could find today. The data was not cheap. Again, excel is a wonderful tool if you'd like to add mathematical statistical support to your odds calculation rather than opinion.

NQ do you have me on ignore (regarding my last post)?

No, but I will by tomorrow.

At the same time that post was posted, NQ said in another thread I was bordering on "ignore-worthy" status, so I was under pressure.

Here's the thing, overnight. I know for a fact that Volpri went through the Brooks trading course. It is a very thorough course. While I do not necessarily recommend Brook's books (his first in poorly written, and I have no personal knowledge of his later trilogy though I have been told they are significantly better than his original book), I can recommend his video course without reservation to anyone who will commit the hundreds of hours necessary first to watch it, and then the additional hundreds of hours to understand it and learn to use under real time market conditions.

But if you are lazy and you are simply looking for mechanical "set ups" and you want to quit your job last week and be a successful day trader tomorrow then save your money. It is a trading course like none other I have seen and for the $349 it is currently it is a bargain. I bought it a number of years ago and I paid significantly less and I almost feel guilty for how little I paid.

Why this matters here is this: In Brooks's course, Brooks teaches both intraday swing trading (what I do) and intraday scalping (what volpri does). So while you look at volpri's charts and do not know what it is you are looking at, I look at volpri's charts and can see exactly what he is doing. But Volpri has put in the time and volpri has done the work. So, yeah, it steams when I see you or anyone trolling his good journal. And you have trolled his journal since inception or soon thereafter.

How about you put some intraday calls up here and show us you have any clue what you're doing. If you are going to troll and be qualified as an authoritative critic you ought to first prove you have the chops to warrant it.
