If we were to get the same number of Wuhan virus infections as we had flu infections the year 60K died from flu, how may deaths would that project?

Of those 60K flu deaths, one get the sense that they were spread throughout the year, and that even in peak flu season the health care system was no where completely overwhelmed as we see with Wuhan virus, right?

Is there any data on how many would have died from the flu that year cited had a flu vaccine not been available that likely prevented many flu deaths?

This is like comparing a rope walker with the safety net and one without the net. To the spectators, what does it matter, right? But to the guy walking the rope, it's between life and death.
 
CL escaped the teens today with an afternoon rally off of $19.95. Closed at $20.82. However, the daily chart is still mombo ugly.

Well, in this case the complaint is that the country is walking the tight rope without a net and the media have unduly exaggerated the danger.

I think there is real danger. Many friends and family in NYC and this is no joke of an illness if it sets down in your neck of the woods. It is a killer. During the worse flu season the only ones who notice are the doctors. Wuhan demands everyone pay attention because it is here to fvck us up.

Yeah, right. All the boneheads need to get their tinfoils off their head for once. Considering that China has f*cked the rest of the world for the third time (first with SARS, second with swine flu, and now the bat flu), we should not be so complacent. Be prepared for another effing flu (and I swear it will come) because next time you might not be so fortunate.
