I am expecting a huge dip eventually. Just play the bounce. Realized I can't time when the damn dip will occur with precision.

Yes but I was willing to hold the short. Yes the collapse was obviously out of the blue . But to be honest the way things are swinging the biggest asset a trader can have is the balls to pull the trigger . With proper scaling you’ll make money with this crazy volatility

Position sizing and scaling are good strategies. Absolutely agreed 100%. But you gotta be right on the large up or down trend, otherwise, scaling into the wrong direction can be costly.
