Yeah, he posts a fair few real time calls. I only take his trades with my own money when it's a legitimate call. Like I ignore vague statements like ''I wonder if we fall hard here'' or whatever, but when he says ''Short here, 3 point stop'' I join him, and it nearly always works. I've been on trading forums like this for like a decade and have seen lots of good traders, and he's probably the best i've seen in all that time.

In terms of analysis, he's mentioned before that he doesn't really use charts/TA etc for actual trading decisions. Just 'models' (whatever that means). Someone told me that he's actually a 'big time' trader and has 'fuk you' money and has worked for big investment firms etc and I wonder if he has access to info that most don't that help him make his trading decisions.

A model can be a lot of things, IMO. But in essence, it's your understanding of how the market works and finalizing that with a framework or set of tools in order to exploit that understanding. The better your understanding, the better your model. It can be statistics. Indicators. A set of rules (when this happens, usually that happens...). Algorithms . An automated system.

He might not be using conventional TA or charts, but I bet it's TA in some kind of way. There is no other way, really...

Not sure what information he'd have access to that others don't in a market such as ES?

I disagree. That is the good thing about predictions, they make a statement about the future. The one I linked earlier from him came to pass nicely and he did short the morning uptick, and closed half of the shorts at the lows...

By the way he has 3 posts here in the P/L section, last seen here in 2011...
