You had to get out but can always get back in.took a big loss in CL, basically the size of my win on NQ. Damn. Lapse of discipline happened and i held the loser to long waiting to exit at a better price.
Should have got in on this short but waited for 2846 that never came to be.
I might buy 2803 for the bounce.

A couple points above 2800 where B1S2 says is very important. Nothing much more than this. What was it that made you look at 2803? That was the low tick! Great call![]()
Not the ES per se, but I just picked up next week's 2870 SPXW call at 1.20. It looks like the beginning of institutional buying this afternoon...looking to take out new highs next week.
Edit: Oh, apparently my confirmation is kicking in before I could get this posted....we'll mark it at 1.65 to conform to the time stamp....shouldn't dramatically alter the payoff...![]()
That said, I'm also bullish as hell right now but with a lot of hedge under me (well, actually above, if you want to get technical...it's a straddle)
I have a feeling you are no rookie but an extremely talented trader.I basically fucked up, I was so married to my perspective on what should have happened in CL that I couldn't act in a timely manner and get out with minimal pain. I had the discipline not to average down thank god. Basically sitting break even between the SHORT NQ gain from yesterday and Long CL lost. I am still a rookie what can you say.
