Beware the 2PM EST news statement from some random white house official aimed at goosing the markets in the final hour this week. Seems like when there is a threat of a weak close these days, the administration trots out some stooge to provide market confidence.

They usually make statements with around an hour left in the day to chase out the shorts.

The white house or Elon.

The open looked weak, but sellers seemed to evaporate at 10:06 EST and equities went straight up through 10:55 EST.

Does anyone have any ideas for a catalyst at that time other than BTFD buying coming in?

Funny, but I don't do it rather my moves are measured. However who here will say this hasn't been the bias for many yrs?
