2/23 gapped 12 points above 2/22 close at the open and never filled the 2/22 gap

That anomaly is still an unfilled gap regardless of your opinion

This does not constitute a gap as the price activity during the two days was overlapping and as such there was no "no mans land" ---A gap from closing price to open is by itself not a gap.

How the hell can you claim overlap when the prices never did ? 2715 does not overlap 2703 now matter what nonsense you try to argue

I just didn't want to watch it overnight. I was looking for a quick bounce which we didn't get til later. It was ill advised to take when I knew I didn't have time to watch it.

As you can see here, prices from the two days overlapped. Thus--no gap occurred.
