Well, it's clearly trading up, so there's no need to fight the tape. I wouldn't mind flipping long here. But, at the same time, we've already had two strong days of rally, so I'm betting this market will go down more sooner than later. Hence, I'm sticking with my short for now.

FWIW, the current HOD was the end of a 11,25 point move that didn't retrace more than 2,25 points bottom to top. If you know the size of moves, you would know that ES rarely does more than say 10 points without a retrace.

Thats' why it's often smart to NOT buy at the end of a 10 point move and vice versa. Of course, there's exceptions to this, but it can keep you out of trouble.

We currently retraced 5 points from the HOD. At this point, it's just a normal retrace. It's not a sell-off.
