So you are convinced they won't let the markets go down?

I'm not convinced that the sun will rise tomorrow, but I will assume as much until the evidence suggests otherwise.

Central Banks are all-in. They cannot afford to let markets drop significantly (certainly not in excess of 20%, and even then...). When they lose control, conditions may be such that you will not be able to collect on your amazing short position.

I don't think in terms of such certainty. Certainly CB's are manipulating the markets, but to assume to know their intentions and that those intentions are always on long side, is absurd.
