ES Journal - 2015

Sell/cover signals are generated off the timeframe you enter on, but it's good to have multiple timeframes up so you can see looming support/resistance to give you a heads up that your trade may be coming to an end. I have all timeframes visible from 1 minute to weekly for each underlying I trade but my entry/exits are generated off the 2 minute.
Wouldnt you just need the 2, 10 and 60?

Do we have an outside bar on weekly?

We don't always get book perfect indication of intentions. Ok, we didn't close below last week's low, yet we also failed to close above last week's high. I am seeing confluence of multiple indications, they may not be book perfect, life isn't perfect, we still adapt to various parameters of its imperfections and choose positive outcomes on most occasions, do we not?

There isn't an outside bar on weekly then.

How does monthly look?

How does monthly look?

I don't like the way MACD looks on that time frame, it suggests weak sentiment. I think you are very wise to reduce your long term investment portfolio at these levels. I am in no position to declare any statistical probability of a sell off, I am merely 'looking at the painting from a distance'.

Do we have an outside bar on weekly?

Do we also have a range?

Because an outside bar reversal inside a range has a completely different context. For instance, buy low, sell high as long as the range holds.

This range is preceded by an uptrend giving better odds to a failed breakdown to come to the downside and a true breakout to come to the upside.

Signals per se have different meanings as they are correlated to context.
