ES Journal - 2015

Certainly not. I don't pay any attention to news or even know when it is scheduled to come out. I couldn't tell you what the fed said. In my view, hourly remains long here. A drop below 2116 would have me re-evaluate.
i rest my case :)\
you will see -2116

In addition, the call for the hourly trend being up was analysis for taking longs on the 5 min chart, which would have netted 8 points. That's more than what people here try to get, so it was a great call. Once the price jumped out of the upper Bollinger Band and back in, that would be the signal to take profit.

whether you ignore the Fed or not is on you. the eight point move was a fed gift for those who paid any attention to the hype momentum. The question was about your hourly call. I was just trying to see what you were looking at. We all see things differently don't you agree? from my window the hourly was in chop! or just in a Bollinger range for those who fiddle with that sort of stuff.

Reminder--Market is always trending on some time frame. Find the trend and exploit it. Here the hourly was clearly long as so you would drill down to the 15 and 5 min and find long entries and stops.
