ES Journal - 2015

Fun day, lot's of action, lost track of scalping opportunities, if any of you are scalping many trades, don't even notice time going by so quickly, just concentrating on the risk. I lve retrace trades much better than breakout, cuts down risk.

You all have a fine weekend.

... ...You can mark this up all you want and say all kinds of bad things about me. I'm taking a break from ET.View attachment 151561

Sorry to see you go.

Thanks again for all the helpful posts and pointers in ET, there are many of us who appreciate it.

While Db is superb in chart reading and forecasting price action, you have been the REAL deal all along.

Take good care, fortydraws... and hope that you'll be back soon!

40D, upon further examination, since you were down $700 when you took the first screenshot and price moved against you to 74.50, you must have caught it as it broke that swing low the first time. Would you say this is what made you short here?

His message (quoted below) was very clear unless I have poor reading comprehension skills. Thus, there's no need to ask questions when he's posted in advance (before questions) he's taking a break from ET.

Yes.. I do see that, but so often he would also say that he's gone/done for the day gone before the open, and then updates 30 mins later. It never hurts to ask, the worst that can happen is I don't get a reply. He did also appear to want a discussion about if posting trades would be beneficial, so there is room for both outcomes.

This is probably not the thread or format to discuss if posting trades and/or broker statements is beneficial. Simply, I detected a little sarcasm in his post. Others have done such too...post a real-time trade or statement just once (with tongue in cheek) and then leave without doing it again.

Bye.

I'll post this here. Entry, stops, profit targets ... all filled. How this helps anyone is beyond me. I'd rather discuss various ideas for reading price action, as, imo, two people can read the same thing but each will (and likely should) trade it in his own way. Took time to put it together, and price was moving, and the OP himself has said discussion welcome - so, here it is for anyone who wishes to discuss.

Discussion Topic: Seeing someone else's trades in a platform makes me a better trader. True or False.

Call me a detective or what not but what prevented you from not posting had the trade gone south ? Cherry picking is also a form of deceit.

There is no substitute for live calls.
