ES Journal - 2015

That's what scribblers do - we read the market. We plan our trades in advance. Do we know whether it will be a short or a long? Nope. That is not for us to decide. That is for the market to decide. Do we know what out exact entry will be? Nope, but we know what price must do to tell us when and where to get in and when and where to get out.

Scribbles.

over 30 NQ points made today. Last short was lucky as I walked away from my screen with my stop in, and my big target.
I'd not have been able to hold it that long if I was at the screen, but since I was having a beer, It was allowed to hit my target area!

Better not to watch the screen eh? Happy for your results

Long NQ 4314.50 limit, stop market 4300, size divisible by 5 with three targets, first 4382, others above 2015 highs.

Slight modification.

Long NQ 4314.50 limit, stop market 4300, size divisible by 5 with three targets, first and second above 2015 highs, third above all time highs.

So what you are saying is the market could go up, OR it could go down? Consider my mind blown.

The point is to look for a place where price changed direction in the past, and realize that it might reverse, or it might break through, and have a plan in place to trade as the market itself dictates. It is simple, but apparently not very easy.
