ES Journal - 2015

Whether I trade or not does not matter. I learned the hard way a few weeks ago that it is better always to be "paper trading" or "taking a break" or "quitting for the day" rather than to make any claims as to what I may or may not actually be doing. I do know I called two NQ entries for easy 5 point profits right here in real time today - entry, stop, profit target. And I know that I'm the only one in this journal who was calling for the ES to trade near 75 and go out on its highs here. The. Only. One.

So, while I'll be the first to admit that trading isn't about being right but rather it is about exploiting an edge, I'm also not morally opposed to pointing out that I was pretty much spot on here today. And whether I traded my call or not does not matter. Because my call was stated in public and in real time, and anyone fool enough to follow an anonymous internet "voice" into a trade would have, in spite of being a fool, made $$$ listening to me today.

So, I was right. I'm not always right, but like it or not, today I was dead right. And when I'm right ...
