Don't really know. Lots of them losses were shorts taken when it was trending down. Market would just go up as soon as I got short and stop me out, and then carry on again. Causes of the losses were probably due to me only using charts and TA etc to build an edge, rather than something more sophisticated such as Pro's at a hedgefund would have access too:)
Trying to Catch every move? If my method give me a signal I will tend to take it.

Still, money made back plus a little more so far today.

That's why I try to use larger stops and grab a larger piece of the pie. If I can capture two 6-8 point moves per week, the week is normally successful. Every time I would risk 2 to get 2, I'd end up a break even trader always swearing that I "knew" it was going up/down, but just didn't have the balls to hold.
