That's the equivalent to 12 ES points per day on average. Jack Hershey is the only one that can pull that off. Good luck lol

I doubt that he's swinging any real size... So far he's been lucky with his "long only, buy and pray" strategy.

I am perfectly content averaging 4-6 ticks per day while gradually increasing my size, not the amount of points or trades.

Less trades for more consistent results has worked for me. Only trade the ES when all the stars align. This means rarely more than 3 trades per day and very few trades in the afternoon unless we have a volatility spike and u see the afternoon reversals.

I can go days with no trades when volatility declines due to upside price movement, and what I call price equilibrium. Averaging 4-6 ticks per day is probably where I am at as well if u average in all those days I don't trade.

Hey Johnny, elsewhere in this thread you mentioned that you keep detailed stats, so If you don't mind i wanna ask a few questions
What's your win%, profit/loss ratio, avg time in trade, # of trades a day. How long have you been able to average 4-6 ticks a day? How long have you been trading the ES?

This style of trading seems to suit my personality, so I'm just curious how many people are actually able to pull off scalping the ES successfully like this.
