I don't think there is going to be any "lift-off", a major trend line was breached yesterday, and it couldn't move back up above it this morning.

And now we are selling off again, looks bad to me.

Rare in the current low volatility environment maybe, but markets change all the time, pull up a chart of 2008-2009 and you will see that back to back huge selloffs were very common then.
