That's the reason I scalp and trade only the morning session... I can't predict anything beyond a few minutes. I'm happy being a monkey pushing the buttons just like Mr. Handle :).

Just wait for momentum combined with a decent percentage of traders to get trapped in a position, and go with the herd. Doesn't happen everyday. Not everyday has opportunity. Wish there was. That's why they say patience is a virtue. Sucks watching a screen most of the day and doing nothing.

Yup. Thats my normal mode (plus a personal autotrade system). Every now and then I take an (intraday) swing to capture an expected usually sizable move. TF is my primary instrument with autotrade usually on NQ. I'm flat-eod in all cases of indexes.

Couldn't agree with you more... This morning I watched the longs being trapped and took advantage of them. The key is patience and observing the price action.

that was an impressive trade. I scalped a short a few mins off the open for +1.25 points and nothing since. I definitely didn't see what u saw. Wish I did !

Thanks wiesman. I normally shoot for minimum of 4 ticks but once in a while I get lucky :).

Disagree completely. As long as there is trade price movement, there is opportunity. And since NO ONE KNOWS in advance if any particular opportunity (trade) WILL BE nominally large or small on the PnL, it is the system and the plan that decides when opportunity exists. The trader merely facilitates.
