I usually ave on each trade under 3 ticks based on my weekly performances, so it is pretty huge to me. There are some days from I have made 20 trades and made one tick on all of them and been pretty happy bout it, although I will say it is really grinding it out and frustrating. I remember long ago when S&P500 was $500 a point, my first $10k day was done on a four point range day, I was doing three lots, I was so happy didn't trade for few days. Yeah those were days you had to call down to the floor, use to risk 4 ticks, 20 cents, as it traded in nickels, nickel was $25 a tick, those were great days, now it stinks, next store neighbor comes over to watch me trade and told me it was easy, " a ten year old Cub Scout could do what I do", few weeks ago, $5,000 bucks ago, sure it is easy when you have next to nothing on the line, now he calls and wants me to teach him, muck no, you insult me and want help, go find that ten year old scout what I told him. ROFLMAO.

Trading is very difficult in anyone's beginnings, not cause lack of material, but cause so much advertising pumping out different ways to do so. Learning to trade at first is testing to see what doesn't work for you and not so much what does. You get so good at losing that when you on a winning trade, your body freaks out and every tick you get even more nervous like you have hot coals down your drawers. The brain is good at finding all the losing trades cause those are done so much, just reinforces the bad. New traders have a better chances of making money than old losing traders cause of all the bad past.

Three-four times a year I go for hypnosis, went this afternoon, I give him a list of where I want to stay with good discipline, look for only trading plan signals and other areas of my life I wish to go towards. I never got anything good out of Douglas books, we all have to reach for a certain path in life.

This is becomming quite an easy way to make money.

I reccommend a long only approach to all thos struggling! At least until, say 2500 ES.
