ES Journal - 2014

Correct. Thankfully, there's TSLA, JNUG , and NUGT to trade. Better than watching paint dry with the ES :D

eur, gbp, chf = usd pairs all offered +30 ~ +40 pip moves this morning. Straight, stair-stepped methodical. Monday it might be the jpy pairs turn. When emini trading sucks, it never pays to fight it. Step aside, invest your time working someplace else. Simple :)

I'm curious about those who are trading for 2 ticks :D

Are u doing it in SIZE?

I scalp out usually 1-8 ticks, after it is all done and said, I ave $ 24 bucks a trade after fees etc based on original entry(I average down on all my trades) Which isn't bad at all to my thinking in ES. I also watch all the indexes, Crude, Gold, very seldom do I ever move targets beyond $100. And after I reach my $200 goal net based on one lot, I cut back size 80-90% depending on how many days left in the week. Today is one of the few days that after 10:00cdt been getting 0-2 tics, but been huge week considering. My platform has been programmed to trade different volume based on before the goal is reached and size of previous bars' volume so I never exceed 4.95% of the volume after the goal is reached, I never want to be in a position where I can't get out decently due to ave down trades and no volume.

I do have a few buddies who just go for 0-2 ticks 200 ticks a day, they consider me a long term trader, LOL. They average down on all trades but only take 2 ticks on each entry whereas I get out usually in area of plus one of the original entry depending on length in time of trade. Winners normally take off at the start and losing trades tend to drift sideways giving the newbie "Hope", sort of reminds me of Robin Williams taking about Golf.
