ES Journal - 2014

That's interesting I always trade them together with assumption that at some point they must achieve parity due to arbitration.

In this instance, I would expect Nasdaq to rise here to meet the falling DOW and S&P.

Lost my ass many moons ago when I use to think I was a smart man and use my brain, had to stop that and become a monkey hitting buttons.

If I was long from way below I'd want to take profit here. IT WAS A FULL RETRACE for gosh sake. If I was a weak long, just bought a few ticks ago I'd be looking to bail on first sign of trouble.

I guess I don't look at retraces like most-simple retraces are not going to screw the noobs, only time I can visualize them is using a trendline, price closes on other side of trendline, draws in the breakout traders, I am waiting for where the breakout trader is going to get screwed and I will take other side of their trade. I don't have signals of doing simple trend trading after normal retraces as I couldn't get losing percentages low enough to be able to ave down.
