ES Journal - 2014

I'm not trying to figure anything out, I was helping Luke understand today's action so he won't short that type of action again

Yeah, once you learn what truly is going on, trade long enough to where almost 99.9% of situations happens and have answers for all the "what ifs", nothing is abnormal. I always find it amusing when traders say the markets are acting very weird and that all have changed, all that tells me I am an old fart and it has all happened many times in the years I have been scalping these markets.

Possible Head & Shoulders to sell on one minute NQ, volume came in on left shoulder and faded at head, draw trendline to get short on breakout if it goes down.

Handle,

I've seen thisbefore too; what i am saying is this PA is unusual. Unlikey. Strait down, strait up full retrace and no pin action after all that. It's happened in past, but ES & YM stalling out flat lining w/o a significant PB after all that buying..well i believe that's unusual. Not unheARD OF.

that's why i am short YM here. it must give back

I have learned hard way that I simple trade each market as if it was totally differently, sometimes I am actually long one index and short the other.

That's interesting I always trade them together with assumption that at some point they must achieve parity due to arbitration.

In this instance, I would expect Nasdaq to rise here to meet the falling DOW and S&P.

Here's hoping once this snowball gets rolling down hill building momentum it rolls right thru a support level or two. once the weak longs see this is over (for now) they'll fuel this selloff/PB
