TBH, if you get price on lockdown, you won't need the TICK. I used to use the TICK all of the time, but it became a burden to have to pay attention to another variable when making trade decisions.

I want to say there is nothing wrong with adding to positions aka scaling-in
so long as usage of that trade management tool is expected and/or anticipated at the onset of initiating a position. Those that use a scaling-in technique properly know who they are.

USDJPY bounced off support at around 101.30 (2 month low?) . BoJ will not want it to break, bound to do a bit of buying overnight to bring it back up. Could sent ES up 10 points overnight, be careful if you have shorts.
