If those lines weren't garbage, why was the down slope line broken on the first visit to it (notice that is the first visit, not the second visit as some might think)?

Just got out at 1844.5 for -2 on that trade, after being down as much as -42. I wanted to add below 1800 on Sunday, but price never went there. Asking 1851.5 to initiate a short, adding 1868.75 - Day.
