ES Journal - 2014

I just read that Nodoji suggested Ammo and yours truly as nominees for Jack's project to write another book. I hope the reason behind the new book project is not that his old books are not selling well. I have read one of his books, but I must say that sometimes I feel some sort of regret to have read it.

You've made some nice calls, bro
What's your general style? You just trade price action from charts?

Regarding stocks vs futures: I'm actually experiencing the polar opposite! Early days yet but switched from futures to stocks recently and am doing a lot better (so far at least!) I think the huge variety helps me in that I can always find a chart that interests me, whereas sometimes the ES isn't telling me anything at all or offering me trades that I can see.

Keep it up

Hey Brian,
My general style is trading ranges and recent big picture price action. Trading for larger moves is all I've done and I think if scalped for 2 or 3 pts or had to close positions each day I would get ripped apart. Disaster stops and trading the bigger picture has worked for me so far. If the market doesn't move in my direction I will close out (time based stop) but I don't set a 5 tick stop per trade or anything like that.

down on jpm numbers looking for spx to get into 16-13 cleave, exp next week, wouldnt be a surprise to see em run up the puts here, then reverse, run up the calls back to 1840 cash(majority of hns patterns retest the neck before dropping,) then pull back somewhere in the mid for exp
